Happy Coffee Club brings new life to a sunny corner of San Clemente that’s been part of the neighborhood for generations. Once a familiar local hangout, it’s now a space where stories continue, coffee flows, and everyone is welcome to pull up a chair—whether it’s for your morning latte or evening wind-down with a beer or glass of wine.
THE OWNERS
Happy Coffee Club is a family affair. Shelby and Cameron Houle dreamed of creating a café that celebrated community, connection, and joy. The name itself came from a little voice with big ideas—their four-year-old daughter suggested “Happy Coffee,” and it felt just right. For the Houles, this is more than coffee—it’s a way to bring people together, share stories, and create a space where everyone feels welcome.

We will be open from 6:30am-8:30p. Happy Coffee Club is a spot to linger over coffee in the morning, enjoy an afternoon pick-me-up, or enjoy wine and beer as the day winds down.
